The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Islamabad is holding another exhibition of Argentine painting in Pakistan, where argentine artist Maria Martha Pichel exposed more than 40 paintings.
In Pichel’s painting, human figure predominates in all its forms with visible expressionist features. She debuts with her first exhibition in 1982 at the Soudan Gallery, the following year she starts working as a draftswoman at the Favaloro Foundation, illustrating for anatomy and cardiovascular surgery books; she then is granted a scholarship to study at the Center of Visual Arts of Buenos Aires.

Kuch Khas Gallery Islamabad with collaboration of the Asian Study Group (ASG) organised an exhibition, presentation and demonstration of pewter silver work by Farah Babar.Farah Babar practices the art of Rapu Jado, also known as metal embossing. She has incorporated Persian and Arabic motifs and calligraphy into her work. Farah's personal preference is for the Kufic and Thuluth scripts.

Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Washington DC holding an exibition titled 'Nasta'liq: The Genius of Persian Calligraphy'. The exhibition is the first of its kind to focus on nasta'liq, a calligraphic script that developed in the 14th century in Iran and remains one of the most expressive forms of aesthetic refinement in Persian culture and Urdu typography to this day. Unicorn Gallery is presenting a retrospective exhibition of the late Master artist Laila Shahzada on 10th December 2014.
Laila Shahzada a pioneer of modern art painting in Pakistan, was one of Pakistan's most internationally renowned artists and the first women painters to gain international recognition with exhibitions around the world.

A group exhibition of the artworks of 45 artists of Karachi was organized to celebrate the launch of the The Art Scene Gallery's new chapter. The guests experienced pleasure of witnessing the artworks of selected artists from Karachi including legendary artists of Pakistan. Titled 'Karachi Art Scene 2014' the show conveys the contemporary art scene of Karachi by focusing solely on the city's artists.
