Momart Art Gallery is one of the most reputed art galleries in Pakistan. The gallery opened by Shammi Ahmed, was inaugurated in 1994 at Shahrah-e-Faisal that later relocated to 74 D, Block 2, Clifton. The gallery has been named after Montmartre a hill in North Paris France where painters such as Picasso, Modigillani, Dali, Monet and others had studios or worked in or around that area. Momart also houses a permanent gallery to showcase works of one of the maestros of Pakistan, Jamil Naqsh.
